Frequently Ask Question

Often, people come to us when they’re working through feelings of worry, sadness, or pressure. This might include dealing with heartbreak from loss, difficulties in personal connections, or questions about who they are and their worth. Significant shifts in life or the demands of raising a family frequently lead people to our door. We also help those processing tough events from their past. And sometimes, folks simply want to connect with someone who can offer a fresh perspective and help them nurture their mental state.

1. Who can access your services?

Our services are open to individuals of all ages including adults, couples, teens, children, parents, and families. Whether you're seeking support for mental health, relationships, or life transitions, we’re here to help.

2. Do I need a referral to book an appointment?

No referral is needed. You can contact us directly to make an appointment. However, if you’re eligible for a Medicare rebate or accessing services under a Mental Health Care Plan, a GP referral may be required.

3. What issues can I speak to a therapist about?

We support people with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, depression, grief, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem, parenting, life changes, and more. No concern is too small if it matters to you, it matters to us.

4. How long are the sessions, and how often should I come?

Sessions typically run for 50–60 minutes. The frequency depends on your needs; some clients come weekly, others fortnightly or as needed. We’ll work with you to find what feels right.

5. Is everything I share confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is a vital part of our work. What you share in sessions stays private, with some legal exceptions related to safety or court orders. We’ll always explain this clearly in your first session.
